Call for Demonstration Proposals
This yearˇ¦s Demonstrations will feature cutting edge work and work in progress in every area of multimedia, including multimedia tools, end-systems, innovative applications, multimedia content analysis and retrieval systems, multimedia networking and system support, multi-modal user interfaces and interactions, multimedia database systems, medical imaging/video systems, wireless multimedia applications, multimedia-based security applications, media entertainment, hypermedia systems, and other innovative applications. Demonstrations of research results, as well as novel product ideas with commercial applications, will be considered.
All submissions will be evaluated based on originality, technical soundness, and clarity of expression. The demonstrations will be arranged at a dedicated conference session. Demonstrators will be provided with space for equipment and/or posters. Participants will be required to provide their own computing equipment and any additional display, sensor, and hardware needed for the demonstration.

What to submit:
- Submissions must be in English and at most two pages in IEEE proceeding style (double-columned pages) including references and figures. The demonstration summary will appear in the conference proceedings. Submissions should include:
- Author names, affiliations, and contact information
- A brief description of the demonstrated system
- A summary of the novel characteristics of the demonstration and the significance of the contribution to multimedia technology, applications, or systems
- Comparisons with related systems
- You are encouraged to provide a link to your demonstration website that describes or illustrates the demonstration by containing a video demonstration, a MS PowerPoint presentation, and/or a Macromedia Flash presentation, etc.
