A panel proposal should include a title for discussion. The title and theme can be selected from the themes of ISM 2007. Selection of topic should consider new and potential directions of multimedia research. In addition, a proposal should include a panel chair and 5 panelists. The list of panelists should be selected with a consideration on area distribution. For instance, two panelists (and the chair) are selected from each of the areas: America , Europe, and Asia . A short biography is required from each of the panelists (and the chair). Panel proposals will be reviewed based on topics of interest, experiences of the chair and panelists. Depending on the time slots available, one or two proposals will be accepted. If the proposal is accepted, the panel chair should collect discussion materials form the panelists, coordinate the subjects of discussion, and send a presentation file to the panel co-chairs before the conference.
